Old Scholar Returns to Support Year 12 Music Student

On Friday of Week 8 last term, Todd James returned to ½ûÂþÌìÌà to lead a special music workshop with Year 12 student Noah.

Todd, a former Music Performance Merit Award winner, has spent the past ten years living in Berlin, building a career as a musician through band performances and street music. During his visit, he worked closely with Noah to help prepare for several upcoming SACE Music assessment pieces.

Throughout the workshop, Todd shared practical advice and strategies for approaching some of the more challenging compositions, drawing on his professional performance experience. The session also featured an energetic drumming jam session, giving Noah the opportunity to learn alongside an experienced musician in a hands-on and engaging way.

It was a valuable experience for Noah and a wonderful opportunity to welcome a successful old scholar back to the college to inspire the next generation of musicians.
